On the Admin Sidebar, navigate to Store > Setting > Configuration

On the left side, down to the Sales tab, choose PDF Print-outs

These are the settings that you need to set up to add the order number to sales documents in Magento 2.

Under the Invoice section:

  • In Display Order ID in Header, you can turn on/off the function
  • Choose Yes to display the order ID in Header

Under the Shipment section:

  • In Display Order ID in Header, you can turn on/off the function
  • Choose Yes to display the order odder ID in Header

Under the  Credit Memo section:

  • In Display Order ID in Header, you can turn on/off the function
  • Choose Yes to display the order odder ID in Header

After configuring these settings, here is the result you got. We take the Shipping record as an example.

Add Customer IP to sales documents in Magento 2

  • On the Admin Sidebar, navigate to Stores> Settings > Configuration
  • On the left side, down to the Sales tab, choose Sales
  • Open the General settings 

In Hide Customer IP, you can turn on/off the function that whether a customer IP is shown in orders, invoices, shipments, and credit memos or not.

 

In this case, choose Yes to display the customer IP in the sales documents. Here is an example.
