GreenTeaEveryday Meets the Challenge of Catering to Both Retail and Wholesale Customers with a Single Shopify Store!

GreenTeaEveryday is a business that sells various types of drinks made from green tea extract in Israel. GreenTeaEveryday wants to offer a healthy, tastier, and more intriguing beverage alternative for everyone. The green tea concentrate is crafted through a cold-pressing process that eschews harmful additives, mirroring the traditional Japanese methods. This concentrate forms the base of our diverse range of flavors, all derived from 100% naturally selected plants.

💪 Challenge

The store owner reached out to us with the hope of building a website for both retail and wholesale clients. That means GreenTeaEveryday only needs a single Shopify store to sell to B2B customers and serve end consumers.

💡 Solution

To fulfill his requirements, the merchant installed and used three of our apps to build a B2B flow running parallelly on the same store: B2B/Wholesale Solutions, B2B Login/Lock & Hide Price, and B2B Portal/Net Terms.

Wholesale Registration Form
The merchant successfully created a wholesale registration form with custom fields provided by the app. Furthermore, they configured the form to assign a wholesale tag, manually approve wholesale accounts, and adjust other settings. Our support agent assisted in restyling the form to meet the merchant’s preferences.

Custom Pricing
The merchant proceeded to create Custom Pricing rules to set different wholesale pricing for customers with various tags. Initially, a compatibility issue arose between the app and the merchant’s chosen theme, resulting in the disappearance of the price and rating sections when Custom Pricing was enabled. Recognizing this issue, the merchant disabled the module and sought assistance from BSS support. Our technician provided a manual installation of Custom Pricing on the theme and resolved the associated issues. Due to the complexity of the merchant’s theme, which included various cart types such as cart pop-ups, mini carts, and cart pages, it required several hours to successfully install the functionality. However, the technician managed to complete the installation on time, allowing the merchant to promptly initiate their wholesale channel.

Hide Products
Specific products are available exclusively to wholesale customers, so the Hide Products module is also in use.

Quick Order
The Quick Order rule is configured so that only customers who log in and have a wholesale tag assigned can view the Portal link to the Quick Order form for specific products available for bulk purchase. During the implementation of the Quick Order rule, the merchant encountered an issue where not all selected products appeared on the Quick Order Form. This problem arose due to the large number of products set up per page by the merchant, potentially reaching a thousand. To address this issue and optimize page display, the BSS team provided guidance to the merchant on configuring the Quick Order Form to show approximately 100 products per page. This adjustment ensured that the Quick Order Form functioned smoothly and displayed the desired products without omissions.

Net Term
The merchant only allows wholesale customers to buy now and pay later (in a fixed period) with a net term set up in the B2B Portal/Net Term app. It can bring more options for payment to B2B buyers, and help GreenTeaEveryday to stick loyal customers around.

Reorder
Wholesale clients can view their previous orders, make changes, and reorder them to save time on selecting multiple products once again.

✅ Result

After a few hard working weeks, the wholesale system was successfully set up without affecting retail clients. Customers who register using the wholesale form and are approved by the admin are assigned a wholesale tag and become wholesale customers. After that, they can log in to access the Quick Order form as well as wholesale products and purchase at wholesale prices. Furthermore, they can buy now and pay later, as well as reorder to save time. The merchant began selling to both retail and wholesale clients without hesitation.
