1. Magento Detail Requirement
I have a Magento store that currently has Facebook login feature. I would like to allow customers to be able to login by their Google accounts.
Also, sometimes our Facebook login feature doesn’t work well in some browsers. Please advise!
2. Solutions from Our Magento Development team
Firstly we need to know if you have implemented Facebook API yourself or you have used 3rd party social login extension. We will have the following cases:
Case 1: you are using a social login extension. It’s strange because if you have Facebook login option, you should have Google login option and other social login options too. We suggest you upgrade the plugin to have new features, or you can even try to use other social login extensions. At BSS Commerce, we do have Magento 1 and Magento 2 extensions for social login:
Case 2: you have implemented Facebook API yourself, and would like to keep using the same way to use Google API. You should follow google guideline in this link: https://developers.google.com/identity/sign-in/web/sign-in
