BSS Commerce Magento 2 Extension Update – April 2023

Last month, our main goal was to make all of our module to be compatible with the latest version of Magento to allow merchants easily take advantage of the new updates. 

In one month, we have finished compatibility for 13 modules, as seen in the table below:

Product Improvement

Magento 2 Custom Option Image 

Custom Option Image extension helps optimize the product for custom option products.

In v1.2.0, we have 3 new updates:

• Optimize code: compatible with Declarative schema
• Fix bug: ‘Column definition option_type_id and reference column definition option_type_id are different in tables bss_catalog_product_option_type_image and catalog_product_option_type_value’. 
• Fix bug from Magento Marketplace.

Magento 2 Simple Details on Configurable Product 

Magento 2 Simple Configurable Product helps simplify your configurable products’ appearance. 

We have 2 new updates for version v1.4.3:

• Update compatible with M2 Facebook Pixel
• Fix bug not displaying child products that are out of stock correctly in swatch options.

User Experience

Magento 2 Mega Menu 

Mega Menu for Magento 2 lets you design the menu by freely customizing menu URL, inserting various label to highlight menu items and inserting static blocks for better website navigation.

In version v1.1.8, we fixed the bug not deleting category in the backend.

Sales Motivation

Magento 2 Pre Order 

Magento 2 Pre Order extension enables the pre order function in your Magento 2 store.

Last month, we released v1.2.6 to be compatible with Magento 2 Configurable Product Wholesale Display module.

Moreover, we fixed 5 bugs of the old version:

• Fix bug parent product not displaying in category page
• Fix bug related to My Account page when an order item is deleted from backend
• Fix backend configuration note display issue
• Fix bug related to mixing order function
• Fix JS bug with drop-down product option type

We also updated the Hyva compatible package to be compatible with the new version 1.2.6 of the module. And we fixed bugs related to cart, stock status of configurable products, and grouped product page performance. 

Magento 2 Reward Points 

Magento 2 Reward Points extension helps build your loyalty programs.

In April, we updated the GraphQL package of the module to fix minor bugs and optimize.

Customer

Magento 2 Store Credit 

Store Credit module allows you to refund store credits to customers’ accounts.

In version v1.1.7, we updated new messages when customers apply store credit depending on admin’s configuration.

Checkout 

Magento 2 One Step Checkout

Magento 2 One Step Checkout helps simplify the checkout process by gathering 3 checkout steps on one page.

Last month, we updated it to be compatible with Magento 2 Company Account extension.

B2B Extensions

Magento 2 B2B Registration 

Magento 2 B2B Registration Form extension allows you to add custom fields in the signup form and verify customer registration before activating accounts.

In version v1.3.6, we fixed the bug not validate address field from server.

And for the GraphQL Addon, we updated Graphql mutation for B2B registered customers.
