In June 2023, BSS worked extremely hard to not only bring out more updates for our existing modules but also provide new modules to support Magento merchants.
First of all, we proudly announce our new Magento 2 extensions:
- Magento 2 ChatGPT: enables you to integrate ChatGPT into your store to leverage the latest AI technology benefits.
- Magento 2 Dynamic Category: enables you to automatically associate products to categories according to your product conditions.
Last month, we also focus on making our modules compatible with Magento 2.4.6 and PHP 8.2 to help store owners easily take advantage of the latest version. In total, we finished the compatible package for 21 extensions, as seen below:

In version v1.0.5, we have 1 new update and fix 2 bugs.
Update:
- Change the config name from “Who Can Review The Product” to “Only registered customers who bought the product can review it” and the error message in the frontend.

Magento 2 Convert Images to WEBP
Magento 2 convert images to Webp allows you to automatically convert all images on your website to WeBP format.
In version v1.0.4, we have 2 changes:
- Update not converting images to <picture> tag when the image is ignored and not a product image
- Fix bugs when running cmd on Magento 2.4.6
Magento 2 Rich Snippets
Magento 2 Rich Snippets extension adds rich snippets, breadcrumbs, rating, price, review, etc., for products to the search result pages.
In version v1.2.0, we have 2 changes:

Magento 2 XML Sitemap extension generates and splits XML sitemap for Magento 2 store to boost up crawling by search engines.
In version v1.2.0, we fixed the bug of compatible with web root path.

Magento 2 Configurable Product Matrix View
Magento 2 Configurable Product Matrix View shows configurable products in a neat matrix form for faster B2B ordering.
In version v1.2.0, we fixed the logic of out of stock child product.
Magento 2 Custom Option Absolute Price and Quantity
Magento 2 Custom Option Absolute Price and Quantity extension enables adding absolute price and absolute quantity for the custom options.
New changes in version v1.1.9 includes:
Update:
- Unit price display logic at the main product’s product page
- Make the Subtotal row at the main product’s product page more significant
Fix bugs:
- At Mini/shopping cart/Order summary, the product detail shows CO price instead of CO tier price
- At PDP, CO is charged with a duplicate tax amount for Logged-in customer
- Wrong Subtotal, Unit price at PDP and mini/shopping cart with products that have tier price & CO with percent type and CO tier price in Discount type
- Error while saving the product after creating the custom option on product edit page and creating or saving the option on the custom option template.”
Layered Navigation for Magento 2 helps customers filter and narrow their search easier and faster with different product attributes.
Version v1.2.5 comes with 2 updates

Magento 2 Out of Stock Notification
Magento 2 Out Of Stock Notification allows customers to subscribe to stock status and it will automatically send a notification email to the list of customers signed up to receive an alert notification when the product is back to stock.
In version v1.3.3, we updated the module to work with disabled Manage stock.
Magento 2 Simple Details on Configurable Product
Simple Details on Configurable Product enables giving each of the child products its own unique identity and shows all details of one selected option without page reload.
In version v1.4.4, we updated it to optimize query code.
We also fixed 3 bugs:
- Bug review info displaying name of child product instead of parent product when disabling Additional Info
- Bug category page still displaying name of child product when swatching options when module is already disabled for the product
- Bug module not working with Flat Catalog
Magento 2 Quick Order
Magento 2 Wholesale Fast Order enables customers to quickly order multiple products without visiting numerous product pages.
In version v1.4.2, we fixed 2 bugs:
- Compatibility issue with PHP 8.1
- Search issue with BSS M2 Category Permission
Pricing Diversification
Magento 2 Hide Price/Call For Price
This module allows you to hide price and show a Call For Price button.
We fixed 3 bugs in version v1.2.3:
- Show wrong Inquiry ID when doing Action -> Delete at Customer Inquiry List
- Validate required ReCaptcha at backend
- Error in product pages of configurable products that have custom options with multi-select type
Magento 2 Multiple Store View Pricing
Multiple Store View Pricing for Magento 2 allows administrators to set up different prices for same product on each store view of Magento store and supports setting up base currency per store view easily.
Last month, we released a new version for M2.4.5 and above and for M2.4.0-M2.4.4.
Version v2.3.3 EE for M2.4.5 and above includes the following updates:

Magento 2 Request a Quote extension is for B2B business, to fasten the quote request process and quote management.
In version v1.2.6, there are many new changes.
Updates:
- Email template sent to customers after admin’s action “Send to customer”
- Optimize code to display button “Add to quote”
Fix bugs:
- Cannot add Configurable product to Quote from Homepage or catalog pages
- Security hole: When customer A has already logged in, they can open and view Guest B’s quote detail link in the same browser
- When configuring Tax Calculation Based On = Billing address, the Order converted from quote has no tax
- Fix the distance, length of product name and SKU when printing pdf

Magento 2 Customer Attributes
This extension enables creating unlimited customer attributes on your registration page to collect more important customer data.
In version v1.4.5, we updated it to optimize code and performance of validation attributes.
We also fixed 2 bugs:
- Error when disabling Magento_Csp module
- Converting attribute type to date format without checking the input type of that customer address attribute
Magento 2 Social Login
Magento 2 Social Login extension allows customer to log in Magento site through social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
In version v1.1.3, we fixed a minor bug.

Magento 2 Minimum Quantity of Configurable Product
Minimum Quantity Of Configurable Product for Magento 2 allows the admin to set a minimum quantity of configurable products as the compulsory condition when customers go to checkout.
In June, we released the new version v1.0.8 to support REST APIs.
Magento 2 One Step Checkout
One Page Checkout for Magento 2 simplifies the checkout process by gathering 3 checkout steps at one page.
Version v2.3.4 have 3 new changes.
Update:
- The order quantity on the checkout page automatically reduces to salable quantity if greater than the salable quantity
Fix bugs:
- Minor API error
- Stock notification message not changing when order quantity is changed

Magento 2 Reward Points
Magento 2 Reward Point incentivizes customers to purchase more and increases retention rates by providing them with a loyalty reward program.
Version v1.0.8 comes with 3 new updates:

We also fix the bug of transaction history sorting logic.
Magento 2 Review Reminder
Magento 2 Review Reminder allows users to automatically send notifications to customers who have purchased products from the store to encourages them to share their shopping experience.
We fixed 2 bugs in version v1.1.4:
- Not logged-in customers did not receive email
- Missing product list in customer emails

Catalog Permission for Magento 2 allows store owners to limit access to specific categories by customer groups.
In version v1.2.2, we fixed 2 bugs:
- Cannot search when using together with BSS M2 Quick Order
- Compatibility issue with Elastic Search
