The fact is, not every consumer that is browsing your store intends to make new purchases right away. Usually, there are various reasons why a customer doesn't make an immediate purchase:
- Consumers might want to compare goods from different stores or to get the best deal possible.
- Customers already have a budget limit, which restricted them from making any purchases at once.
- Visitors may also look for products ahead of sales or promotional events.
Customers will most likely quit visiting your online store if there is no easy way to keep their desired products for the following orders. In the long run, this might result in considerable revenue losses and negative business development.
With a broken shopping experience, potential customers usually decide to stop making new purchases and visiting the store.
The same situation applied to B2B customers as well. Wholesalers tend to use a wishlist as an ideal place to list all kinds of products they seek, not to mention several good trades specially chosen by themselves.
Without a proper working multiple wishlist function, the whole purchasing process of large corporations is significantly affected. It’s no doubt to put a bad mark on their upcoming revenues.
Even if you enable the wishlist function that comes from the default Magento 2 Commerce, it still isn’t enough to satisfy wholesalers' needs. The default interface is long and messy, making it hard to find favorable items for the next purchase.
Please always keep in mind that wholesalers need quick and neat experience. They have no time, scrolling up and down the endless wishlist.
